The overall objective of the project was to increase employability, sustainable employment prospects for disadvantaged groups, namely youth and women in the energy sector in Kosovo. This objective was achieved following three specific objectives: SO1: Build technical/professional and soft-skills among targeted marginalized youth. R.1.2. Curriculum in vet schools and VET centres aligned with EU standards and requirements. SO2: Support transition from school to work for targeted youth in electrical installations professions. R.2.1. 100 youth completed the apprenticeship program in industry/private sector companies; R.2.2. 100 youth employed or self-employed; SO3: Promote employment and self-employment in the new professions in the energy sector. R.3.1. 4 employment facilitation events organized; R.3.2. 200 youth participated entrepreneurship and soft-skills training; R.3.2. 10 self-employment grants awarded to most promising and entrepreneurially oriented youth. |
