Entrepreneurship Training program – Second Phase

Project Objectives:
The objectives of the Entrepreneurship Training Program – Phase 2:
1. To increase knowledge and equip young adults with entrepreneurship skills necessary to either start-up or re-organize/improve a small business, or find meaningful employment in an ongoing business enterprise by developing/adopt the practical entrepreneurship training program;
2. To create linkages between successful candidates and microfinance institutions, by matching successful business plans with favourable loans;
3. To establish follow up system for successful candidates by providing post-loan consultation and/or technical skills training depending on the need;

Project Results:
1. Pre-Training: Training of Trainers organized with 30 trainers
2. Nine (9) partnerships created: Students Helping Life (Rahovec); Municipality of Shtime; Center of Competence (Malisheva); Municipality of Dragash; NGO “Zana” (Klina); Minicipality of Istog; Peer Education Network (Kacanik and Decan) and NGO “Arteza” (Gjakova).
3. 899 applications received from all around Kosovo
4. Participants trained: 369 (first phase) and 127 (second phase)
5. Seven (7) modules delivered
6. 116 business plans received
7. 33 grants delivered by Community Development Program 8. 300 hours of consultancy delivered to 50 businesses

This project lasted: 13 months
