Mr. Krasniqi is a funding director of the Business Support Centre in Kosova. Mr. Krasniqi, a Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholar, holds MA and PhD in Economics from Staffordshire University (UK). He teaches Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management and Research Methods at University of Prishtina in graduate and postgraduate studies. His professional career spans teaching and research in entrepreneurship at Maastricht School of Management (the Netherland), Indiana University (US) and University of Michigan (US), Staffordshire University (UK), Université Nice Sophia Antipolis (France), State University of Tetovo (Macedonia), Riinvest Institute for Development Research (Kosovo). He has authored several books, numerus research reports, consultancy assignments. His research work in the area of entrepreneurship, SMEs, transition economies appeared in international journals such as Small Bus Econ, Int Entrep Manag J, IJEBR, Econ Syst, Post-communist economies. Mr. Krasniqi has worked in several regional projects funded by European Commission IN Brussels, GIZ and Regional Cooperation Council, mainly in the area of economic zones, investment and trade in Western Balkan countries. He has been involved in leading several development strategies at national and regional level. Mr. Krasniqi has a wide range of working experiences in the government, public and private sector, as a manager, consultant, and entrepreneur. He worked at the Ministry of Trade and Industry and held managerial position as a member of the Board of Directors at Prishtina International Airport in Kosova. Mr. Krasniqi previously owned and successfully run a family business. He has extensive experience as an independent consultant and trainer for both domestic and international private companies, government, and international donor organizations. Mr. Krasniqi is Certified Management Consultant awarded by International Council of Management Institutes.
